Drumcondra Physiotherapy Clinic has been in existence for over 25 years and has an excellent reputation in the Medical community. It was founded by Mary Coolen who remains as Medical Director of the clinic.
We are delighted to announce that Drumcondra Physiotherapy has now joined The Physio Company and will now operate as part of The Physio Company group. Our staff include:
Mary Coolen – Joint Partner
Mary is a well known and well respected Chartered Physiotherapist with over 35 years of experience in Physiotherapy with accreditations in England, Canada and Ireland. For the last 25 years, Mary has run private practice clinics in Ireland and was the founder and is now co-owner of Drumcondra Chartered Physiotherapy & Sport’s Injury Clinic.
Among, Mary’s many achievements and responsibilities, Mary was Chairperson of the CPPP (Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice) the body that represents all private practice physio’s.
Anne McGoldrick (nee Coolen) – Joint Partner
Anne is a fully licensed and practising Chartered Physiotherapist, who obtained her BSc Physiotherapy degree in Trinity College, Dublin. She has over twelve years of private practice experience in Dublin and Limerick.
Anne has completed a number of accredited post-graduate courses including manipulation and NST. Although she enjoys treating a whole plethora of conditions and injuries, her special areas of interest are dancing injuries, spinal pain, fibromyalgia and cervicogenic headache.
Anne is currently the Medical Director of Drumcondra Physiotherapy Clinic and also all of our clinics under “The Physio Company” name. She is in charge of continuing professional development of all our Chartered Physiotherapists and maintaining medical and ethical standards across all of our branches. Yvonne Burke
Yvonne is a fully licensed and practising Chartered Physiotherapist. She obtained her Honours BSc Physiotherapy degree in The Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin. She has also completed a number of accredited post-graduate courses including exercise physiology and effective management of the cervical and lumbar spines.
Yvonne has a keen interest in sport including marathon running and hockey and is the Senior Physiotherapist for Railway Union Ladies Senior Hockey Team and the under 16s Irish Ladies Hockey Team. Yvonne has a particular interest in the effective diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and injuries.

Nash Beeby
Nash is a fully licensed and practising Chartered Physiotherapist who has recently arrived from Australia. He obtained his Bachelor Applied Science, Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney, Australia in 2005.
Nash has previous experience in Australia in both the hospital and private practice fields. He worked in a busy private practice which treated a large variety of conditions. The practice was associated with local Rugby League (similar to rugby union) teams and Nash attended their games to be their physiotherapist on game days.
During his time spent working in the public hospital system Nash was able to obtain experience in a number of fields including neurology, aged care, cardiopulmonary, rehabilitation, post surgery and musculoskeletal therapy.
Nash is into rugby, travel and surfing, but the water might be a bit cold over here for him!
